The Grand San Francisco Excursion

hello there! I just got back from San Fransisco, and needless to say it was incredible.
If I could I would take every single one of you to San Fran to show you just how amazing it was but unfortunately I lack the financial resources.
Second best, here's a photo tour of my trip:)
(photo spam warning)
After Many Hours, we finally made it to the city, our hotel was in the heart of downtown, Union Square.
First order of business was a cable car ride to Fisherman's Wharf
This is my adorable sister Natalie, who makes balancing on the cable-car look easy (it wasn't).

We got dinner at The Chart House with  stunning view of Alcatraz. I ordered Swordfish, which was quite interesting. I don't know if I recommend it.

Visited the birthplace of some of the best chocolate in the world.

Lombard Street, also called the crookedest street in the world.
We then visited the De Young Museum, which was beyond incredible.

Bought a button for the collection at the Amoeba Records on Haight-Ashberry Street.
The houses were my favorite part. They were so unique and beautiful I could look at them all day.
The Crosswalks on Castro Street were rainbows:)

We walked to City Light Books, the home of the Beat Poets.

We don't have In and Out burger in Washington, so we decided to give it a try.

This was probably my favorite part of the Trip. We got a guided Tour of the San Francisco Art Institute, which was literally a magical land of Art. It felt like Disney-Land for artists...

This was the room in which I got my portfolio evaluation done.
 The painting studio.

The roof had the best view of San Francisco I saw all week.

We went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. An experience I recommend to each one of you to do before you die.

 The Robin Williams Tunnel:)
The view on the drive home was the perfect finish.
San Francisco, it's been real.
Hope to see you again soon.

  1. I love SF! And this is such a great picture post. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Too many great sites to see - you need another trip! ;-)

    1. And so little time I know, I most certainly need another trip:)

  3. I've never been to San Francisco but I want to now! :D So awesome! :)

  4. SAN FRANCISCO IS PERFECT, AHHHHH. Did you ever get freaked out going down those hills? I went down one that was almost a vertical slope once and nearly cried. XD
Your photos are amazing! I wish I had gotten to go on a cable car or to Alcatraz, but the lines were too long for the first and you had to buy tickets wayyyy in advance for the second. Ghirardelli Square was one of my favorite spots, though, as were the Japanese Tea Gardens and Asian-American Art Museum. The houses are absolutely gorgeous, aren't they?

  8. What an amazing trip. I want to move to California when I'm older, and San Francisco is definitely somewhere I would consider living.

I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium when I was like six...but I don't really remember it ;)
